Tim
My name is Tim Firpo, I'm the owner and airsmith at PB Tek. Chances are some of you have seen me around Northern California either at the fields, or working/hanging out at one of the pro shops. I got into this sport 18+ years ago and my first marker, a 2K WGP Autococker, quickly jump-started my career as a paintball technician, airsmith, machinist and collector.
Since then I have worked at several shops and fields including:
Through these employments I've made tons of contacts in the industry and a lot of great friends who have taught me much about the sport, repairs and marker operation theory. I've worked on nearly every type of marker ever made from the original Nelspot 707's to the most current tournament level markers and many of the accessories; such as hoppers, tanks, electronics and upgrade parts.
As a collector I've acquired many markers and types of equipment that I could experiment with, take apart, modify and ultimately make work or make work better. All this knowledge has helped me understand better how markers work and how to fix them, and by proxy how to fix other markers that work using similar operating systems.
